The feature hole here at Wheathill and an excellent par 4 with lots of choices to be made. The first being which side of the tree are you going to go. Left leaves the easiest shot to the green, but lengthens the hole and brings the OOB into play from the tee. Right is the shortest route but brings into play two large trees that protect the front of the green. The approach from the left is through a narrow corridor between the trees and the out of bounds. The shot from the right will have to be over, under or around the trees short of the green, none of which are easy.
The 14th is another hole which the longest hitters can reach in one, but the tee shot is not without danger. Out of bounds up the left, a bunker short of the green and trees that cut in from the right mean the tee shot has to be accurate. For the shorter hitters a ditch that crosses the fairway needs to be negotiated before taking on the same threats with the second shot.
Another short par 4 but an extremely narrow landing area if you are playing it as a two shot hole. A pond in front means only the very brave will go for the green, but a straight shot either way should lead to a birdie chance.
