NEWS AND VIEWS

11th may 2020

As you are probably aware the government has allowed golf to reopen as of Wednesday but with strict rules in place to keep everyone safe. As a golf club we are doing our best to cope with these unprecedented and difficult times and have put together a schedule that we hope will be acceptable to the majority and as and when we are given permission we will get back to normal. The below is our first effort at reopening and we will review this on a weekly basis once we have an idea as to how its working. The online booking system will go live by 8pm this evening but tee times will only be bookable 1 day in advance for the first week to avoid the booking of unused tee times. Please also note that all roll ups have been removed until further notice.

 08 April

Hi Everyone,

We at the Golf Club just thought we would check in and see how you are all getting on? I'm sure a lot of you are missing your golf just as much as we are.

Simon (Head Greenkeeper) is currently the only person permitted to be at the Golf Club and has been doing a great job keeping everything cut and looking good, ready for a return in hopefully,  the not too distant future. He has sent over a few pictures of the course to show you how well everything is starting to look. The Winter is now behind us, and the photos show we are doing everything we can, in these difficult times, to make sure that we have the Golf Course in as good a condition as possible for everyones return.

Keep safe and we look forward to seeing you all as soon as the restrictions are lifted.
